Dietitian for Weight Loss Covered by Insurance | Women's Health Nutrition

You deserve to lose weight and feel steady in your body so you can stop starting over every few months, without another restrictive meal plan standing in the way or a cost keeping you stuck.

It's time to manage your weight and health without the guilt spiral that follows every "bad" meal, so you can feel calm and in control in your kitchen, your life, and your own body.

You are in the right place if you're looking for a dietitian that is covered by insurance and...

You've followed restrictive diets more times than you can count, and it never survives past week three.

You're managing diabetes, prediabetes, or PCOS and you're a little scared of what your medication might be doing to your weight.

Your schedule runs on caffeine and momentum, and no meal plan you've tried has ever accounted for that.

You want to lose weight without giving up the food tied to your culture, your family, and your Sunday table.

You're tired of paying out of pocket for programs that never once asked what your insurance already covers.

It's not just the number on the scale

It's that every meal has started to feel like a test you might fail.

And it's not your fault. No one ever taught you that sustainable weight loss and hormone balance come from structure, not restriction.

Of course a seven day meal plan built for someone else's kitchen never held up in yours. With the right support, this does not have to stay a cycle of starting over.

What if you could go from:

  • Fearing your lab results to actually understanding what they mean?

  • Dreading your medication to using it as a tool that works for you?

  • Quitting every plan by week three to keeping one that fits your real Tuesday?

  • Guilt after every meal to a plate you actually feel good about?

  • Choosing between your health and your culture's food to having both, finally?

That's exactly what Weight Loss and Women's Health Nutrition with Basic Habits is designed to do.

This work creates space for sustainable weight loss and real hormone balance, whether you're managing PCOS, prediabetes, diabetes, or the general chaos of a body that feels out of your control. We focus on realistic meal structure, medication understanding, and habits that actually fit your week so you can respond to your body instead of fighting it. As your plan settles in, your lab numbers, your energy, and your relationship with food all start to shift together.

Here's How We'll Help You

Step 1: We map your real life first

Before we talk about food, we talk about your schedule, your kitchen, your budget, and your culture. This is where most plans skip a step, and it's exactly where we start.

Step 2: We build a plan around your actual labs and goals

Together we untangle what your diagnosis, your medication, and your lab numbers actually mean, so fear turns into understanding and understanding turns into a plan you trust.

Step 3: We adjust as your real life keeps happening

Your plan grows with you, through busy weeks, holidays, and everything in between, so you walk away with habits that hold up long after our sessions end.

hello there!

I specialize in weight loss and women's health nutrition for women, and your insurance probably covers your plan.

I've spent years supporting women managing diabetes, PCOS, and prediabetes who are exhausted from starting over.

Many of the women I work with are capable and doing their best, until diet culture convinced them their culture's food was the problem.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it worth seeing a dietitian for weight loss?

Yes, especially if you've tried plans on your own and had them fall apart. A dietitian builds a plan around your actual labs, schedule, and culture instead of a generic template, which is usually the missing piece.

  • Can a dietitian help me to lose weight?

Yes. We focus on sustainable structure instead of restriction, so the weight loss you see is the kind that actually stays off, because the habits behind it fit your real life.

  • Can a dietitian prescribe Ozempic?

No, medications like Ozempic are prescribed by your physician. What I can do is help you understand how your medication works alongside your nutrition, so you feel informed instead of anxious about it.

  • What should you not say to a dietitian?

Honestly, there isn't anything you can't say here. This is a judgment free space, and the more honest you are about your habits, your fears, and your real schedule, the better your plan will actually fit.

  • What is the 30 30 30 rule for weight loss?

It's a trending rule about protein and morning movement, and like most trends, it can work for some people and not others. We'll figure out together what actually fits your body and your day instead of chasing every new rule online.

  • Does my insurance cover this?

Most of my clients already have insurance that covers this care. We'll help you check your coverage before your first session, so cost is never a surprise.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens, and we ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a session. (24-hour notice or a $30 no-show fee)

  • Do you accept insurance, and how do I check my coverage?

Most of my clients already have insurance that covers this care. Before your first visit, we'll help you check your specific plan's coverage so you know exactly what to expect, with no surprise bill.

    I accept:

    • BCBS
    • Ambetter
    • Aetna
    • Driscoll
    • United Health Care
    • Medicare
    • MedicaID
    • More to come

You already know another restrictive plan isn't the answer.

Sustainable weight loss and real hormone balance are possible without giving up your favorite meals. This is a space built around your real life, not a stranger's idea of clean eating.
